I decided it was finally time to review one of my favorite apps just get it

Regconizes text from images incredibly well. Have tried on different types of images with text with standard fonts and this app has always worked so far

I’ve just been playing around with it so far, but it does everything I need it to do. I wanted to convert text from a paper book into a text file so I could put it on my Kindle and the price is right

Easy to use & reads text well!

Very handy. Text recognition is good/excellent My suggestion: It doesnt recognize paragraphs so lines of the same para are broken by a line break. Result: painful work to find each line break and backspace = waste of time. I would suggest adding possibility to reconstitute paragraphs. I.e. Replace a paragraph mark that is followed by a lower case with a space. Anyway, great app

I love this app it makes my homework so much easier! (We have "outlines" we are supposed to make) I dont have to write 10 paragraphs every night anymore!!!!!

Its states in the description it translate "Japanese graphic novels" its called manga u idiots!!!!! 3 stars cuz of that!

I have dyslexia and struggle to read. It has been a lifesaver and it made me more independent.

This is an awesome OCR app. It is one of the best apps I have downloaded on my phone. It is very dependable. Not one time have it shut down on me while working. I was using it to my benefit and it did not fail. Easier to work with than my multifunctional printer. I have had the app on my phone for some time but never really used it until now.

Of the OCR scanners I have tried on the iPhone, this is the most accurate.

As of September 18, 2015, every time the album is open it crash and close! I am running IOS 9, on an iPad. I really like your app, but at the moment I dont.

I spent hours trying to convert a plain scanned document to text on my Mac. All the free programs did a horrible job. Then suddenly I remembered I had this app on my phone, and voila, it converted everything perfectly. Thanks text grabber!

Ive searched and this has to be the best OCR app in the market. I like to type my notes and that also includes information from textbooks. A real time saver! Please do include any option to directly transfer text to google drive in the future.

Doesnt work properly at all. I have tried to take a picture of multiple documents. First of all, the auto crop feature doesnt work at all. I have to manually select the edges of the documents. Additionally this app doesnt even find text correctly. Most of the time is has a ton a mistakes in the recognized text. It always has random characters at the end no matter how well the room is lit. The translations also dont work well. The OCR is bad, the features are mostly a miss, and the translations are sloppy. This app should be free. Anyone looking for this sort of app, find a free alternative as this app is not worth a single penny.

Ive had the for about a 2-3 years. Its helped me cheat in a programming class where i copy code and a typing class where i write random pointless words. Currently its helping me form a written format for an AP Environmental project. Im now im 12th grade and id like to say thanks to the devs.

This is one of those apps that people dont know about because they dont use their phone for EVERYTHING like i do, making an image text to editable text tool essential. The text has to be relatively clear. The update about a year or so ago improved the text recognition for this app mucho.
