Pros and cons of TextGrabber scan and translate app for iPhone and iPad

TextGrabber scan and translate app good for

The best ORC Ive used on smartphone. Great to help to read documents and books!
Text recognition works pretty well, except when there are equations or "strange" characters inside the text. A general Unicode recognition would be nice.
Thought it makes minor mistakest i need to correct but it didnt fail in just doing what it promised to do. It translate the text you take a photo from into a form you can copy paste and add to your document or archive, what ever. Im a filmmaker thats why i really appreciate that tool cause having an already to use document for remarks and improvements means a lot if you are communicating with a group of people. I got it for free due to some "limited free offer deal" so i can only judge from the xmas point of view. But hell yeah, it works. Just take care that you have decent light to take a photo of the text. Light is always the key.
This app roxs. Best school. I totally recommend it. Great for cooking STUFF
This is the most intuitive app in the App Store!! Thanks for adding the fixed issue with iOS 7 and I hope this app gets better and better at recognizing writing and words as well as translation!!!!
I love it.This app is very powerful and It helps me a lot to save words and translate. Strongly recommend it

Some bad moments

I tried to scan and translate three Chinese text, it doesnt recognize them, even if I set the correct language.
Photo scans ok. But error message when trying to translate. I tried English to French and visa versa. Dont waste your money.
Ive done numerous attempts on Chinese texts and the app failed every time. Not worth my money at all so far.
Pros: Simple EASY to use OCR recognition built-in to app. Doesnt require internet connection. Cons: OCR engine is very basic so not accurate. Perhaps future versions will improve accuracy? Expensive compared to more powerful OCR apps like Pixter (half the cost) that do the CPU intensive heavy lifting online for better results.
App boasts its ability to translate words on a photo, However it needs more work as it cant even translate the simplest Chinese words on both traditional and simplified.
Why is this the free app of the week? Its horrible and overpriced (its not actually free either, it has badly priced in-app purchases.) stick to google translate app.
